Regardless of your business, there is a season. Some are more defined than others, but the goal is to have your product spoken of both in and out of season.

The broadcast television season runs similar to a traditional school year with final exams for shows running in May. Cable television is vastly different, from the subject matter and content they can put on your screen to the number of episodes. Therefore, when George R.R. Martin finally allowed his fantasy book series A Song of Ice and Fire to come to life; only a premier cable provider could serve as the launching pad.
