Woodville Theatre for Youth created their very own make believe chocolate factory at the Woodville last week.
The 23 young people, most of whom had never met, were given a short script and tasked to come up with ideas on how to condense Charlie and the chocolate factory into a 20 minute performance, where everyone in the group could be involved.
By day three the young people, aged between seven and 15 years, had put together their very own show with four Willy Wonkas and several Charlie Buckets. Proud parents watched their children take to the stage and perform their own version of the show on Thursday afternoon. The transitions between the characters was great and the hall was filled with laughs and coos from the parents.
