Last year, we conducted an interview in Barcelona with Sala Montjuïc – an outdoor film festival that has become one of the most beloved summer activities in Spain. The idea originally came from Paris’ Cinéma en plein air. This year, Cinéma en plein air began on July 24th and will continue through August 28th.
Movie lovers can enjoy magnificent film experiences with picnics at Parc de la Vilette. Every year, Cinéma en plein air generates 10,000 people each night during cool Parisian summers. This is where international films are screened at sunset. Recognizable movies such as: Ocean’s Eleven, Milk, The Social Network are presented on a large projector screen. The festival also provides recognition to short films which are shown every night prior to each movie screening.
