We rode an 80-person Swiss lift to the top of Stone Mtn.

We walked from the lift station to the edge of the mtn.

We admired Atlanta’s skyline.

And, we were awed by the vegetation capable of thriving atop a “rock.”

Then, we ventured back down the mtn.

And, we checked out the historical center, as well… the etching in the mtn.

There’s a “famous” cemetery in the city… can’t remember the name.

But, this doorknocker on one of the mausoleums made me chuckle.  Because… you know… it’s good to warn the dead that you’re visiting, rather than simply barging into their digs.  😉

Some of the markers were simply breathtaking…
